ventriloquist’s dummy is on display in the D-Day Museum, Portsmouth. I
was intrigued by the idea of entertainment and comedy and its part
in a major historical event such as the D-Day invasion of the European
mainland. The dummy's eyes seem to convey an understanding and at the
